Myanmar's "New Trademark Law" is officially implemented! For a registered and valid trademark in Myanmar, you need to re-submit an application to the Myanmar Trademark Office between October 1, 2020 and March 31, 2021, otherwise the trademark will be invalid; during this period, the Myanmar Trademark Office will not accept any new applications , All new trademark applications need to be submitted on April 1, 2021 or later.

Special attention: The "New Trademark Law" establishes the principle of "protection of first application", and the case of identical or similar trademarks protects the trademarks filed earlier. The "application date" shall be subject to the order of submission after 2020.10.1.
