New online services launched by the Intellectual Property Office in Benelux

Recently, with the support of the European Cooperation Service of the European Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), the Benelux Intellectual Property Office (BOIP) has refined its services for trademark and design applicants by introducing new online services.

 At present, BOIP platform provides 4 additional online services, including trademark and design agent changes and transfer of rights, etc., which will help BOIP the modernization of intellectual property related business. these new digital services were launched from may 12,2020 to complement BOIP existing services (name change, address change, name and address change, trademark renewal, design renewal, dissent, and electronic submission of trademarks or designs).

 The new services provided by the BOIP are the result of the work of EUIPO and its partners under the European Cooperation Project.

 The European Cooperation Project supports the development of more efficient, reliable and human-friendly tools and services for trademarks and designs by intellectual property institutions in the EU Intellectual Property Network.
